Steve Zink was raised in a ‘Real Estate family’ in Baltimore, Maryland. His Aunt, Uncle, and Mother are all Realtors. Steve has worked as an IT for the Military and the Government for close to 10 years after he graduated from High School, but that was not his calling. He decided to follow his passion for real estate and moved to the Lake Norman area of North Carolina. Adrenalized by the warmer weather, water, and southern charm, Lake Norman was a natural fit. Steve has been mentored and inspired by his Mother Kim Garrett, Owner and Broker in charge at Kim Garrett Realty, Inc. She has worked in every aspect of the Real Estate Industry representing sellers, buyers, and investors for more 18 years. Steve is eager to share his knowledge, experience, and expertise on all aspects of the Real Estate Industry and the Lake Norman area!
Steve is a family man who spends his off time with his beautiful wife and two boys. He loves fishing, kayaking, and boating on beautiful Lake Norman. Steve is also fond of fitness and athletics. He enjoys weight training, playing intramural / recreational sports, and helping others with fitness and nutrition. Steve is also a ‘foodie’, and appreciates the quality in food and craft beer with his friends and family. Steve is also a proud veteran, having served his country with the The United States Navy branch for 5 years as an IT, with duty stations in the states and overseas. The Navy core values of honor, courage, and commitment are now instilled in Steve’s everyday life. After traveling the world, Steve launched his career in his family owned and operated business, JG Painting Pros., as their Operations Manager. Known by his clients and colleagues for his great customer service skills, tenacity, loyalty and fairness. Steve is dedicated, hard working, and very detailed oriented, when it comes to each individual client’s needs and concerns. He gets great satisfaction from working one on one with clients to ensure their 100% satisfaction.
